Omaha Hi-Lo Poker Hints: High & Low Combinations

Read the combination guides

The table includes high and low combination guidance. When a current combination is available, it identifies the selected cards and hand rank. On mobile, the visual examples use visible board cards and distinguish hole cards from board cards. Use the two-hand-plus-three-board labels to check why a hand qualifies. Before enough board cards are visible, a complete five-card combination may not be available.

Learn low without guessing

The low guide explains five different A–8 ranks, with ace low and no pairs. A-2-3-4-5 is best; a six-low beats a seven-low. A qualifying low is not automatically the winning low. Another player may make a better low or tie, and later board cards may change your best combination.

Explanations in statistics

Information controls explain metrics such as realization and missed high. Archive frequency tooltips explain the comparison with the simulated baseline and small-sample variation. Where bot decision explanations are shown, they describe the bot’s decision signals; they are not a personalized recommendation for your next action.

Limits of the hints

These features help explain combinations and recorded play. They are not a guarantee of winning, a real-time opponent-card reader or a promise of optimal strategy. Evaluate pot size, the price of a call, possible ties and both halves of the pot yourself. Use replay to test your understanding, then inspect more than one outcome.
